Economic Summit Focuses on Collaboration

Top political leaders, academics, scientists, professionals and businesspeople met Friday at the University of New Mexico to discuss ways to create a local "culture of innovation." More than 300 people attended UNM's first economic development summit, aimed at sharing ideas for greater collaboration among all sectors to grow New Mexico's economy. Gov. Susana Martinez spoke at the event, as did the heads of New Mexico's three research universities and the state's national laboratories. Read it here.
