Can NY Replicate Silicon Valley’s Collaborative Culture?

Silicon Valley’s greatest competitor is now NY.  According to an op-ed by Silicon Valley VC Victor Hwang in the NY Daily News, however, NY’s biggest challenge is having a culture that allows talent, ideas, and capital to flow freely into newly formed companies. According to Hwang, NY, known for  its “me first” ethos that dominates Wall Street, initially made a strong run at creating its own Silicon Alley during the first dot-com boom, but that effort did not suffice.
