ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Veteran venture capitalist Victor Hwang will be the keynote speaker on Thursday at the seventh annual Carolina Connect conference.
The day-long event will focus on entrepreneurship, technology transfer and opportunities, and investment.
Hwang, who is co-founder and managing director of T2 Venture Capital, will discuss “The Mystery of Venture Startups: Risk as a Virtue.” Hwang is also a fellow at the Kaufmann Foundation and is a previous president of the Larta Institute, which helps commercialize government-developed technology.
The conference is put on by the Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council and the economic development group Advantage West.
