We specialize in finding breakthrough technologies at the great universities that aren’t necessarily called Harvard or Stanford. Billions of dollars of cutting-edge research are conducted at leading universities around the nation and the world. Because almost all of the world’s venture capital happens to reside in a few places, however, most research never gets a fair shot at commercial opportunities.

We carefully select a handful of companies that we feel represent the cutting edge of technology and that have tremendous commercial potential. We prefer to work with technologies that have received the rigorous peer review of government research funds. Sometimes, we negotiate a way to serve as an extended member of your business team, sometimes as your interim CEO or other executive manager. We set out milestones to grow your business. We want to work with companies where our interests our mutually aligned.
